The NeuroSpacious Model™: A New Way to Understand, Support and Empower the Neurodivergent Mind
Most coaching frameworks are built for people whose brains operate predictably.
People who can “push through,” who don’t need to recover from noise or overwhelm, who never have to argue with their own executive function just to start a task.
If you’re neurodivergent, that’s… not your reality.
You were given systems that never considered your sensory load.
You were given advice designed for nervous systems that don’t spike, spiral, overheat, or shut down.
You were given expectations that require emotional equations your brain doesn’t naturally run.
And somehow, despite all of that, you’ve achieved so much.
The problem was never your brain.
The problem was the lack of space — space to feel, to regulate, to think differently, to be yourself without armour.
So I built a coaching model that gives you that space.
The Heart of My Approach: Space Creates Possibility
The NeuroSpacious Model™ helps you understand your brain not as something to fix, but as something to navigate with skill, compassion, and science.
At its core is a cycle that mirrors how neurodivergent minds actually function:
REGULATE → CLARIFY → ACT → RECOVER

This is not a productivity loop.
It’s a nervous system rhythm.
A humane approach to life, work, emotions, and capacity.
Let’s break it down.
Regulate:
We begin with your nervous system, not your goals.
In a neurodivergent brain, dysregulation derails everything:
thinking, emotional resilience, planning, prioritising, initiating tasks, and making decisions.
Regulation doesn’t mean “calm”
It means “within your window of capability”
Together we explore:
- sensory load (what overwhelms or soothes you)
- emotional spikes (including RSD)
- cognitive overload (when thinking becomes foggy or fractal)
- environmental pressures
- internal narratives and protective patterns
Only when your system settles can we uncover clarity.
Regulation is not optional — it’s foundational.
Clarify:
Once your body feels safer, your mind becomes clearer.
Many neurodivergent adults live with chronic self-doubt, masking, or over-explaining.
Clarity becomes clouded by:
- people-pleasing
- fear of disappointing others
- perfectionism as a survival strategy
- emotional hypersensitivity
- past invalidation (“you’re too sensitive / too much / too intense”)
In this stage, we uncover what you want, not what you’ve been conditioned to want.
We explore your:
- values
- motivations
- sensory capacity
- emotional patterns
- ideal environments
- decision-making style
- identity beyond masking
Clarity is not about having “the right answer.”
It’s about understanding what is true for you.
Act:
Action becomes possible when it honours your wiring, not fights it.
Traditional coaching jumps straight into goals, habits, accountability, and action plans.
Neurodivergent coaching must do the opposite:
Action is the third step—not the first.
You will never hear me say “just try harder.”
Instead, we explore:
- micro-steps
- task initiation strategies
- monotropism-friendly transitions
- dopamine-based motivation patterns
- time-blindness solutions
- scaffolded executive function support
- emotional regulation plans for high-intensity moments
- structures that work even on low-capacity days
Action in this model is gentle, non-linear, and designed for sustainability—not burnout.
Recover:
Recovery isn’t a luxury; it’s a requirement for progress.
Neurodivergent people often operate at 120% until they crash at 0%.
Recovery in the NeuroSpacious Model™ means:
- sensory decompression
- emotional integration
- capacity resets
- boundaries without guilt
- recognising your energetic baseline
- learning the difference between “I’m lazy” and “I’m overloaded”
In a world that expects constant output, recovery is a radical act.
A necessary one.
Recovery protects your progress.
It prevents burnout.
It reinforces self-trust.
And it closes the loop so the cycle can begin again—more spaciously each time.
Why This Matters: A Coaching Model Based in Science & Humanity
The NeuroSpacious Model™ is informed by:
- ADHD executive function research
- Autistic sensory processing theory
- Monotropism and attentional flow
- Emotional regulation science
- Polyvagal theory
- Psychological safety research
- Masking and autistic burnout studies
But research alone isn’t enough.
This model also honours lived experience—the emotional, sensory, and cognitive reality of being neurodivergent in systems that weren’t designed for you.
My philosophy is simple:
You don’t need to be “more disciplined”
You need more space.
Space to understand your brain.
Space to regulate without shame.
Space to act without self-betrayal.
Space to recover without fear.
Space to be fully, unapologetically you.
What Coaching With Me Feels Like:
My job isn’t to make you fit into the world.
My job is to help you build a life and career spacious enough to hold the full truth of who you are.
Neurodivergence isn’t an obstacle.
It’s a pattern—a rhythm—waiting to be understood.
Once you understand your brain, everything changes.
Welcome to the NeuroSpacious Model™
Where your brain gets to breathe.
Where your life gets to expand.
Where you get to be you—fully and spaciously
